A corporate party often combines speeches and a festive moment. The two have different needs: a clear voice on the one hand, atmosphere on the other. Here is how to cover both properly.
Speeches (presentations, awards, seminars)
Intelligibility comes first: a pair of speakers with a microphone is enough for a meeting room or a seminar. For a standing, moving audience, a wireless handheld or lavalier microphone is more practical.
The drinks reception and the party
For the drinks reception, background music that is present but discreet: the compact LD system does the job. To move on to a real dance party, add a subwoofer and possibly DJ decks.
